Brought this bike 3 years back.
In mY view no other byke will come close to this top class wonder.
Engine & Gear Box: 9/10
it never roars it never Thunders us Just it will do its job(deliver Power as required).
People feel proud with noise there bykes make even I too love it some times(Bullet sound) but not life time:). Unicorn Byke engine stands true to brand of honda in refinement. Its Butter smooth and delivers power uniformly not strikingly:).
Gear Box is best in the segment no question in that. Even though its 3 years old it never gives a knock sound or false gear jumps.
Pickup: 7/10
This is not a byke for Race. Its a byke for White collar and so its pickup.
Dont expect it to deliver Instant power its picks up Steadily but defiently not slowly:).
But surely it delivers what is required on when we are on highway. Dont know what the exact relation will be but for intial 20-30 kms on highway its not that powerful but once Engine heated up it out performs our estimates
Ergonomics: 9/10
This is where it agian wins top slot. I believe no other byke come close also. I hate driving posture, comfort by Pulsar, Apache. I drove this byke 400+ kms on a single day believe me I never felt back\toe Ache which usually other bykers used to fell.
Mileage: 8/10
If you tend to drive this byke cautiously and smoothly it rewards you with 54+ kmpl else wise if you decide to burn roads this will burn your pocket with poor mileage of 45- Kmpl[Just a small change naa 4-> 5, 5-> 4 and then+ to -]. this is my true observation on a single byke. So drive responsibly and reward yourself from this cute one.
But On Highways with Heavy acceleration and pickup still it will get us 50+ kmpl! Cheers for that
Safety: 9/10
Alas I met 2 back to back accidents which sued my byke with a bill of 11k but just scratches on my body?
yes my body experienced very minor scratches in 2 accidents.
I heard same feedback from fellow unicorn owners too. The ergonomics is nicely designed such a way that Rider will be in maximum safety Zone.
Reliability: 9/10
Need to say about Brand Honda? This byke is most reliable one on Indian roads
Looks: 9/10
May be some body don’t like the looks. But just compare any 3+ years old byke.
This byke scores number one position in long run where as it counter part pulsar looks like worn and torn just after 2 years.
The paint quality, Fit and Finish make it so
Verdict: If you are looking for No 1 byke in 150cc segment go for it. Don’t give a second thought on any other byke. Except a bit lagging in pickup it is the Best and Numer Uno
