I brought Honda Unicorn last yr in June 2012 and its about to complete 1 yr but I didn’t face any major problems in this bike. I have covered 13000 km and till now the bike runs smoothly.
PROS:
It has got very good pick up and when driven in speed range between 55-60 km/hr gives good mileage of 55-58 km/ltr. This bike has very low noise even when its going on 90 km/hr and running is very smooth without any vibration. I traveled on this bike for 400 km continues without any stopping in between but still this bike didn’t show any sort of problem. I do the servicing frequently on time.
CONS:
The only problem is with the chain. It gets loosened frequently and needs tightening. When I asked at the service center abt this problem I was told that chain pocket is supposed to be replaced every 9000-10000 km. Whats this? Though I have not replaced it till now why should I replace it every time in between the said kms? I have already spent on the bike and this problem is not seen in other bikes of this segment. So this was major problem which I faced in the past 1 yr frequently.
So I recommend this bike to everyone. Its the best bike in 150cc segment. Its a must buy bike and worth for money. Do the servicing’s regularly. If u take care of it then I am sure that it will also show u the performances u need.
