With reference to my above vehicle I had a issue related to gear shifting from the day of purchase, but I thought being a new vehicle the gears might be a bit hard and might loosen after a bit of running . But it did not . So on my first Service at 21 Honda Service center I handed the bike to the service advisor - Mr Yatin and mentioned certain issues regarding Gear shifting, Disc brake noise, Swing Arm Noise and the same are mentioned on the job card number - 2584 Dated 3/6/2014 . I was assured that the issues will be solved as the service adviser himself checked the vehicle and noticed the problem . I went to collect the bike on 4th June 2014 the Issue was still there and the gear were still not shifting easily and had to put a lot of effort to shift from first gear to second and back. I brought that to notice of the service adviser and asked him to check it again he checked it and found the problem was still intact and he took the bike in to the technician and tried to rectify it still the issue did not get solved . He tried to solve the issue thrice but could not finally he made some clutch adjustment and handed me the bike(No parts were changed on my first service). on 5th of June 2014, I faced the same issue related to the gear shifting and had to put in a hell lot of effort to shift the gears . So I went to the service center and asked about the problem they said they will have to check for the issue and asked me to leave the bike and created another job card, job card number - 2732 Dated 5/6/2014. When I called for the concern authority the Manager was not present at the service station and had gone to their newly opening service station in Vikhroli, there was no Customer relation manager, they finally sent a service supervisor MR. Manish, when asked about the issue being still intact he replied that "all honda unicorns have the problem that after heating the gear shifting is difficult " infact he also mentioned " Herohonda also has the same issue", which was not my concern and I suppose his too. Did he mean to say that Honda manufactures bikes which face a problem after heating and the bike driver faces a problem in gear shifting. Mr Manish Himself checked the bike and found and agreed that the problem is still there . He promised me to rectify the problem and deliver it . Very next day he called me up and told me that he has changed the gear shifter, and the bike is ready to be delivered . I collected the bike on 8th june 2014 and drove for few days and started facing the same issue . I could not go to the service center as I am a working professional I have to travel a lot on the bike and have to be assured about my safety . After a few days I received a call from the service center to check the working of the bike and I told the person that I am still facing the same issue with respect to gear shifting and will be visiting the service center soon .
On 19th June 2014 I went to the service center to rectify the same issue and was promised by the service adviser Mr Ramesh that the issue will be resolved and the bike will be delivered 3rd Job Card For the same issue JOB CARD NUMBER - 3643 dated 19/06/2014 . On 20th June I went to collect the bike as I was told that the bike was ready! . I went to collect the bike and found that the problem was not solved at all and I still had to put a hell lot of effort to shift gears . I was really annoyed and called for the manager he still was not present and was at the newly to be opened workshop. I was so lucky I could see a customer relationship manager who came to resolve the issue . I explained her the problems I was facing and asked her to look in to the matter herself. She requested me to wait for one more day and give her some time to resolve the issue 4th Job card for the same issue JOB CARD NUMBER- 3686 dated 20/6/2014. I was promised to collect the bike on 20th June 2014 very same day in the evening . When I went to collect the bike I was told that it would take a bit more time I returned home empty handed . Later in the evening I got a call stating that the clutch plates and the pressure plates have to be changed and will have to pay for the replaced parts . I denied to pay for anything as I was facing the problem since I had purchased the bike . I called for the manager he still was absent and the customer relationship manager was also not present.When I asked the supervisor to call the manager to look into the matter the manager refused to come . Due to all this I am facing a hell lot of mental stress .I have to say I regret purchasing a Honda Bike .
I would request Honda authority to look into the matter as soon as possible and give a replacement for the bike and take strict action action against the service center. I will not receive the bike from the service center untill and unless I am given a new bike and a strict action has been taken against the service provider . I will also claim for all the mental stress due to useless service and for the monetary loss that I had incur by not attending the office . I also require a written apology letter from the service center for all the trouble . Please interfere into the matter or else I have to take a legal step against the company
