Unicorn actuals

Hi guys its already 30 days that I took unicorn and I hope this review solves all your fears and doubts watever may be!

In the month of Aug 2004 that I took a decision of buying vehicle but I did huge R&D on india 2-wheeler segment (I never had a bike in my life& I even don’t know bike riding!)The process continued & came septemeber, that this Unicorn was launched but being a new one I too had some fears and I even had the doubt of handling a vehicle (especialy in Hyderabad Traffic, the tentative feeling was till 1 week after I purchased it & learnt all biking experience!)

Really, contrary to its looks it doesn’t weigh as of its of 139 kgs(kerb weight)/126kgs(dry weight) but its Long wheelbase makes sometimes it difficlut in the corners however its good during riding & especially rainy seasons where chances of skidding is more

It has got Ok pick up & but overall it scores over Pulsar(150cc, Not 180 cc!)&all others in its class.

It took 10 days for me to get the crash/leg guard but its Honda people who doesn’t seem to provide either the vehicle or the accessories in time! (The booking period is min 1 week while max could be 2 months!)

Many of friendz who really provided gr8 reviews here many thankX to them! It was really useful; in deciding a bike for those who r completely new to biking like me! I shortlisted 2 bikes:Discover & Unicorn after going thru all the vistors, splendors, passions, fazers etc.

But I never regretted buying Unicorn coz it scores pretty good ratings over all others!

I don’t want to list all those specifications/opinions as reviews from experts give u exact impression!

I can make only 1 stmt that ’’like the looks are copied from here and there, its features are also copied from here& there, but overall all the features are good’’

Coming to mileage , I think its giving 50-55 km in city provided u drive below the limits!(don’t get feared with 1 st 2/3 ltrs as I too got only 30km for first 3 ltrs’ or so.)

When I went to show room, I heard that even activa which is 2/3 months old & 2 services are dine is giving 30-35kmpl. So lets expect that its not so path braeking engine that of DTS-i bajaj but all in all its a refined versions of existing indian models!

All and all Unicorn is Ok but if you are looking for mileage, accessories cost etc apart from other really useful factors then go for Pulsar or discover(a smaller one).

FINALLY, MANY FRIENDS EXPRESSED THE ABSENCE OF SELF START, BUT ITS SIMPLY TO CUT DOWN THE COSTS & SHOW TO PEOPLE THAT ITS LESSER THAN PULSAR, WHICH IS 62000(HYD, ON ROAD)

WHILE THIS ONE ALSO COSTS UPTO 59000/60000 (HYD, ON ROAD, INCLUDES ACCESSORIES, REGISTARTIONS ETC)
