I bought my HONDA UNICORN bike in FEB 2006, thinking that Japanese product will be good. However during the first week of purchase I found that the gear box was leaking and had to take it back to there service to get it fixed.
Although they had displayed that 60KM per liter on ROAD, I never got that mileage and initially I was getting around 48 - 50 KM per liter. Also I used to get some sort og knocking noise from the engine or for some were an was not happy about the performance.
Every time I left my bike for servicing, I complained about it, bit the response was every thing is fine. In recent days my vehicle mileage dropped down to 40 KM per liter, and suddenly while going to the office vehicle engine cut off and was not starting. some how I put on the choke and managed to drive till the office and later reported to the HONGA Service and the response was very poor.
finally I had to leave my bike to a place which I knew and after that I really felt that the bike performance was really good and I also felt that all the time I was leaving the bike for servicing at HONDA Service station, what they used to do was half washing and nothing else,
So my experience with this product is very bad and the product reliability is very poor and service is hopeless. So my advice is that before you buy that vehicle get it properly checked and find out the local service standards and then make your choice. If not you will feel sorry sooner or later.
