I bought this bike 1.5 years ago and till now I have never faced a single problem in it (touch wood). When I was looking for a bike I tried Pulsar and CBZ as well. CBZ was very expensive and I didnt find Pulsar comfortable as compared to Unicorn. Also, bajaj is not so good in long term when it comes to maintenance and engine performance. The engine starts making noise. I had Caliber earlier, though it was a tough bike but after 2 years it started giving problems. What I like in Unicorn is the comfort, it is very comfortable while driving. You dont feel tired when driving in city in heavy traffic.
Also, it is very smooth to drive because of its high quality engine. You wont realize when you are driving at 80 that you are at such a high speed. The engine quality gives you reliability for long run with low maintenance. The average is not so great but none of 150 cc bikes gives you that. I am getting 47-48 in Bangalore heavy traffic, yet to try out on highway.I must say I find Pulsar better than Unicorn when it comes to style, Unicorn hasnt given style a priority but then nobody is perfect.
I think this bike is the best in 150 cc category and people who are looking comfort, performance and reliability in long run must go for this. Unicorn might not attract people who give preference to style but new model with metal monogram might change it.
