I am a continuous visitor to mouthshut. After reading various reviews only I had opted this Machine from the engine parents **HONDA.
*I bought the bike by 28th Jan 2008 & I have completed approx 3000kms with a top-speed of 117kms per hour & completed two services. Now my mileage is 52 to 55 kms per litre based on the driving.
Air is one of the important thing we should take into consideration for inflating the rear tyres which should be 29psi & not 35 as other bikes for good life of the tyres.
"Value for money" is the first thing I ll tell about this bike. I have observed many advantages in this bike when compared to any other brands.
Never get confused with anyones comparison with the hunk, pulsar, apache, gladiator or anything. Choose the best which suits you based on the below things.
- To show you also hold a very popular bike go for the **PULSAR.
2. To go for a fresh style fastest bhp bike in this segment go for the APACHE.
3. To go foe a marketing leader & shared technology with good team work go for the HUNK.
4. To buy the leader in automobiles & best all rounder go for the **UNICORN.
I think everybody will accept as HONDA is the leader in automobile both in 2 & 4 wheelers. They have their own technology & engineering. I trust & swear on the name Honda. Thats why they are the leaders in this markets.
HH Hunk has its own pros & cons, similarly pulsar, apache etc.
As per my prediction only important technical problems in the Unicorn. They are,
The headlamps glows only in the throttle-given conditions & which doesnt apt the indian roads & traffic conditions. The instrument panel needs some illumination or some fluoresence which is a must for more visuality.
Mirrors gets some rashes or some deposits of dusts & looks ugly which happens naturally without any reasons for which I have changed the mirrors (both) once.
Near the silencer there is a big gap because of the absence of shocks. This may lead to risk of the slip of legs on the rear wheel (especially for children). Also the ladies hook has not been designed properly to suit the unicorn which should be taken into consideration by the HONDA engineers. Both these issues are because of the absence of twin shocks. This doesnt mean i am dissatisfied on the mono shocks. I will not comment on the suspensions of this best machine. Go for a test drive and feel the car comfort in this 2 wheeler.
I will simply call it as a 2 wheel car as there is no engine noise & awesome suspension.
The rest all about unicorn is **THE BEST BIKE FOR INDIAN ROADS.
So,
"BE A WING RIDER"*
