I was using car for daily commuting. Due to sharp increase in fuel prices and traffic conditions I wanted to buy a bike. My requirements were Good Looks, Power, Highted bike, good milage around 45-47 kmpl.I shortlisted Honda & Suzuki brands. Suzuki 150 & Honda Unicorn and Shine.
Later on I rejected Shine due to my height and body weight. Otherwise bike is very good. Suzuki I rejected due to aftersale service and I was doubtful about performance. Honda comes as a trusted brand & Unicorn has made its market since 5-7 years.
I would like to tell you that if you are looking for very fast pickup then honda unicorn is not something you would enjoy driving. Honda is for milage and comfort. u
positives of unicorn are good fuel effeciency(45-47), Comfort for long rides, no back pains. Style and service of honda.
Negetives are, slow pickup and another thing is my bike’s engine is making aditional sound in second gear perticularly. I have given it for first service and told them abou the problem. Let’s see wht happens when I get it back.
These are minor problems whoch should be sorted out and perticularly if you are not too shouty and make mountain of a mole hill.
i would update when I get it back from service. Overar bike is good in handelling and comfort with good milage and moderate power.
Looking for poweful bike with good pickup u can go for apache rtr 160. but le tme warn you appache has discomfort sitting posture.
