I have been on and of this bike since Mar 2006. The bike is a dream on wheels but the dealer is a nightmare on your heels! I have never managed to figure out how the dealership is still going lawless and ignored by the Honda Authorities. Pathetic is a super descent description of the way they treat their customers. Trust me the people at the service centers have absolutely no respect for the brand they are working for. Im in Noida and there is just one service center at sector 21 which ensures that the life of any customer visiting them is made miserable. I realized that on my first free service. They behaved as if they were God’s gift to Honda Owners. They charge for oil change which is never changed. I have seen myself how they use one bike’s discarded oil to refill another bike and charge the owner for a new oil can. I was shocked and pointed it out to one of the supervisors but his behaviour was like hell and he said "Just pretend you didnt notice a thing and I will ensure your vehicle gets the best of service here". My condolensces with the bike owner or victim!?
I have been getting my bike serviced from my friendly known mechanic since then. The bike gears are like Palio turned to a bike, simply butter smooth. I use Castrol 4T engine oil and it has so far been the best diet for my Unicorn. The only problem is when I turn the bike with a pillion, there is a’cut-cut’ sound and if your pillion is a girl she gets a bumpy ride and delivers the message which is not so sweet to your ears. The pickup is powerful enough for a 150cc bike and the best part is that since I have purchased the bike I have not had a single puncture. I dont know if it is because of my good riding skills or the tyres are of’wonder-rubber’. But over all if the service centers are brought under the authorized scrutiny, this bike will rule the 150cc market. All the negations are only and only because of the service centers.
