What I Liked(Pros):
SCREEN & BUILD: I have used this smartphone for about 1 month and I love the screen quality on this though it has only a full HD+ screen. It also has a metal unibody design which is very nice. The in-hand feel is great and the build quality also feels very premium.
DUAL SIM: As of now in India, I think it is the only smartphone that supports LTE on both the SIM cards simultaneously. And I love this device for that. Jio works on VoLTE as well as my airtel SIM also run on LTE at the same time.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: It has a separate NPU(Neural Processing Unit) which helps the device in AI tasks. For example, it auto detects at which object you are pointing the camera and changes the settings accordingly so that you can get the best pictures. The AI also helps it in improving battery backup.
BATTERY: I am really impressed with the battery life of this device. It easily lasted upto more than 24 hours on a single charge and it easily gave me around 6 to over 7.5 hours of screen on time. Even with very heavy usage with mobile network, it easily lasted more than a full working day.
CELLULAR CALL QUALITY: The quality of voice calls is also very good. The earpiece is a good one and I also didnt have any problem while taking calls with loudspeaker.
CAMERA: The camera performance is also very good. Both the rear and front facing camera do a very good job. The pictures are sharp, vibrant and well optimised(due to the AI implementation). It also does a decent job in very low lighting.(OnePlus 5Ts camera performs slightly better in vey low lighting.)
PERFORMANCE: The general performance on this device has also been very good. Even after 1-2 months of use, it has not slowed down a bit.
What I didnt Like(Cons):
IMAGE STABILIZATION: Even after being a camera centric smartphone, it does not have any kind of image stabilisation. The videos are very shaky if recorded while walking.
SPEAKER: It has a single bottom firing speaker and I would say it is okay. It is not the loudest and also it would have been great if it had a stereo speakers setup.
CONCLUSION: It is a great device with insane battery backup, dual support for 4G network, very good camera performance and great general performance. If you are like me who wants to be a little bit different by purchasing a smartphone for around 30K rupees which is not a OnePlus smartphone, then go for it. You will surely love the device and not get disappointed.
