When in Chandigarh do not fail to eat at Hot Millions Salad Bar. It is one of the best restaurants in town.
Though it serves all cuisines, what I find great is the salad bar, presented in ice. One can eat as much as one likes withing the price. The choice is veg or non veg salad, and a cool sweet dish. Frankly I have never eaten such delicious salads anywhere. In many restaurants one may be at a loss as what to eat, but here you may find noodles or pasta and the familiar peanut salad. The service is fine and friendly.
Take a look at the buffet as well and try anything that might fancy your imagination. There is an Indian buffet if you feel like eating dal and chicken.
Of course the restaurant serves drinks and Indian and Chinese food as well. If you go in the evening there is a fellow who sings old Hindi film songs: recipe for a great evening.
The restaurant does not ’’speak down’’ to you as the more expensive ones. It is spacious and comfortable. I find a lot of large groups of families and friends whenever I go there, so it does look very popular. On weekends you might have to wait to get a table.
Though many restaurants have opened in Chandigarh in the recent past, Hot Millions Salad Bar remains a favourite!
