As my business trip to Taj city, I have stayed at Amar Hotel for four days. Booking was made in advance by my company. I have been to Agra few times, but never stayed there before. My earlier trip to Agra was very bad and I was having a fear this time too. But Amar Hotel turned up lucky for me and that has changed the entire of my perception for this historical city.
It has a very effective central Air-conditioning system inside, that can be felt by your body all the time while entering or leaving the hotel building. It also boosts with the automotive alternate electricity feeder system, which merely takes 30 seconds in start and this happens several times in a day.
Attractive, small and beautiful pool site is another attraction to this hotel. Many of tourists from western countries add value to the hotel. The quality of breakfast, which is complimentary, is very good and pleasant. The linkage with outside agencies like Taxi services are also of very good standards. I along with my friends hired a Taxi from the Hotel and visited Taj, Fort & Sikri.
Overall it is nice and comfortable place to stay on the main road, near to stations and markets. Though I would like to give my comment to have less noise near reception counter by the hotel employees, this disturbs and confuses the visitors.
I recommend the hotel for any future stay in Agra.
