Visited Chennai last year and stayed at Hotel Ammu Palace. got a single room and did not make any booking as I was solo. room was OK and basic facilities were offered at reasonable price but the room I got there was no ventilation. both the windows which opens in corridor and there was no way for fresh air.as Chennai’s weather is humid(dont know but at that time it was) made difficult to stay. a sealing fan made a great relief. this does not applicable for all.(I think).hotel lobby was good where free WIFI was offered but for limited time. it is situated in good area. and means of transportation are near buy overall OK experience.
