Yeah friends.It was my 2nd stay in this hotel after 5 years.I booked a room in this hotel through makemytrip.com.I had to stay for 2 days but when I saw that this hotel has a policy of 12 noon checkout. I phoned them that I will reach on 25th April 2008 at 6am and will checkout next day on 26th April at 8 pm.They asked me to pay for 2 days, for which I agreed, As I already booked for one day for Rs 1246 . So they told me to pay remaining amount at checkout.
Ok, I reached at 6am. To my surprise they said that we have received Rs 950 from makemytrip. So they cant give me Rs1246 room.I had my printed itinerary to show them..then they give me room and said our accountant will resolve the issue with makemytrip.ok, next day I checked out and now they said that I have to pay for two and half day coz hotel has a 12 noon checkout policy .when I resisted they deduct half day tariff to make me obliged, Unnecessarily .they charged one full day tariff+ 300 against 950 receipt of makemytrip.
So I had to bear Rs 300 more...anyway my point is this that in this hotel I found tags of PLZ WE HAVE TO WASH LOADS OF LINEN AND TOWEL UNNECESSARILY PER DAY WITH LOTS OF WATER AND ENERGY, PLZ HANG THIS TAG IF U DNT WANT TO WASH THEM..I agree that Rajasthan is suffering from scarcity of water, so by soft corner I hang this tag for 2 days of my stay.
As I was in Jaipur to attend a conference and I was out for 8 hrs per day so there was no use of washing linen..OTHER SIDE, they behave like this. Just to grab money by hook and crook..why asking guest to use less linen and towel..someday they ask us to switch off AC too...and if u expecting this thing from guest then either behave properly or reduce their tariff...suppose guys, if I dnt have Rs 25 they dnt give me one cup of tea free..Then why should I leave my 300..Another funny thing is that, guest have to take bath with hot water in the afternoon in summer season and that too in Rajasthan, because they have put water tank on the roof top. You can imagine the plight of poor guest. In the end, I will say that this is my last stay in this hotel....
