I spent days on the internet, looking for a place to stay for our 6th Anniversary trip to India. I found this lovely place and saved all the reviews. I kept checking but kept coming back to the Hotel Clark Heights. Could any place be this perfect? Hard to believe but something kept telling me that this was the place to stay. I was so right!
It is a beautiful rooms. It took our breath away the moment we drove into the parking area. We checked in and added another night, right away. Then we were shown around the main building - they think of everything - they take great pains to make you feel at home. If you are expecting ice machines and vending machines like chain hotels, think again. We were then escorted down a lovely path and stairs to our Suite. Wait - I hadn’t reserved this room - I saw it on the internet but chose a more modestly priced room. They had upgraded us for our anniversary - a cottage to ourselves, overlooking the vineyard! The PERFECT spot for us.
The Room was beautiful - fully appointed and comfortable. The bathroom with the double shower, King size Bad and heated floor was decadent. We loved the evening on the Rajender Place - peaceful! The stars were beautiful.
They offer a great little wine Inncursion - you are driven around to some lesser known gems to taste the wines - it was a great experience. We got to know another couple that was with us - made it a little more fun. We really enjoyed the Wine and appetizer reception in the evening - each day, a different winery was represented. We met more of the guests and had lots of fun just chatting. Breakfast was delicious. Make sure you raid the recipe files - they encourage it!
Our experience at the Hotel Clark heights was unparalleled. Customer Service is their motto and they live up to it!
