We have stayed at a Hotel Clark Heights before and liked it so much we looked for another in a different location to try. What we found was a great deal for a night in new Delhi that included use of breakfast and a bottle of wine. The hotel itself is close to the Metro station so we checked in early and found the reception staff to be friendly and welcoming even though we were very early. They offered to take our bags so we could start sightseeing immediately. Later when we collected our key we were pleasantly suprised. The room we were alocated was massive, clean and had everything we needed including an ironing board, LCD TV, hairdryer etc.
We made full use of the free wifi internet were again, the staff were helpful and relaxed. There is a big tub in bathroom. which are all clean and well maintained. Next we enjoyed our free wine which was pleasant and we were so tired after our busy day we only went to the hotel restaurant for dinner. The food was lovely with a good choice and the waiter was excellent. I called room service before we went to bed to see if we could have breakfast in bed for no extra charge which I was told would be fine, and the breakfast was huge with a great selection of cooked food, cereals. juices and toast.
It was so much we didn’t eat again till dinner time. When we checked out the receptionist said there was a 200 delivery charge for the breakfast in bed but when I pointed out that I was told there would be no extra charge it was quickly removed from the bill. Overall this was a great value for money weekend in a grand hotel and I would definately visit again.
