My friends had come from Mumbai and wanted to stay in some decent hotel near my house. I recommended them Cross Roads Inn since we had seen its rooms few months back. We had liked the rooms and the interiors during that time.
My friends also liked the first look of the hotel and we went by other people’s reviews about this hotel. The manager gave us a discount of 15% for the room. After checking in the the room, westarted finding its problems. They have two single beds in the room.The bed are like normal single bed without any attraction. This hotels not very good for couples since they join the two beds on request.
The bathroom appears nice on the first look but there is nothing totalk about it. They could have put a shower panel or cabinet since theshower room is spacious enough. But the bathroom is just the basic one.They have provided other amenities like air conditioner and bathroomtoiletries. Bathroom toiletries were also just basic ones. The room service was good but the waiter kept knocking our door till 10:30 pm for ordering the dinner since they take the last dinner order at 10:30 pm.
While checking out, the management charged them a huge sum for a towel and abed sheet because there was a nail polish stain on it. I have neverseen any hotel charging customers for such petty things.
Overall, it was not a very pleasant experience for them in this hotel.
