Nice & affordable hotel

In 1998 I stayed at the Damjis Pvt Ltd which is at V.M.Ganekar Marg (Azad Road), Vile Parle(E).

It is not too expensive, the rooms are clean (with AC, tv, telephone and fridge), the hotel personnel is friendly and the food is also ok (Indian and international cuisine). The place is 6kms from the airport, Telephone: 615-2921-5

It is a 2-star hotel and it is close to Vile Parle Train Station. They do not have single rooms, but will happily give you a double room for a good price.

They also have a hotel safe, the reception is occupied 24 hours a day, so whenever there is a problem you can receive help.

Room service is also good, rooms are cleaned every day and they also offer other services (clothes washing, shoe cleaning, etc.). They have a little courtyard in the back, so you can sit outside for meals or coffee. As far as I remember, car parking is also possible, but the street is not too busy anyway, so you can also put leave car outside. The room I had didn’t have a balcony.

You get good value for your money, although the furniture is a bit oldfashioned, but as I said it is a clean place and you will not find spiders, cockroaches or other insects as in many other hotels.
