Our stay of two nights in March 06 met our expectations. On arrival you enter the courtyard with the restaurant beyond. We were shown to our rooms (a party of three) promtly, these were a little dark though typical of the style and period of the building. (not unpleasant) All the rooms vary, in furniture, fittings etc, some with balconies. Our companions room was had a small courtyard, with table and chairs. The Suite on the ground floor to the left of the entrance, seemed large and spacious with a very high four poster bed. (we had a peek during cleaning)
The laundry service was excellent and good value. The first night we used the hotel restaurant, though adequate and of good value the menu was not extensive. Our guide recommended one of the many good restaurants in town, this was the Rendezvous close by. The menu caters for all tastes, from sauasge and mash to Lobster. For those who use Pitzza Hut there is one of those too.
