The hotel is probably the best in the area - at least looks so. I have not stayed at any other hotel at Trimbakeshwar. Clean rooms, courteous staff at the front desk. But do not expect the same quality of rooms at a decent hotel in any metro.
TV remote did not work, and the staff could not provide me with a working remote. The bathroom sanitary ware was broken in places, plumbing could have been better, bathroom fittings like mirror, hooks et al - needs to be fitted properly.
One is afraid to touch them, as it may fall off any moment. Restaurant service is slow. Considering that this is a pilgrimage location, the restaurant needs to open earlier - nothing is available before 8:30 AM. And not much of a menu in the evenings.I give a 3 star rating considering that one cant get anything better at this remote location. Stayed in May 2009
