There are two Express Hotels in Varoda.
One is on the main Alkapuri road - this is a more premium hotel and so comes at a bit of higher cost. There is another economy hotel of the same property which is a bit off the main road inside a lane. The minimum room here comes for about Rs.1800 per night double occupancy.
We were at the econonmy property for a single night over a weekend. The place is decent, well maintained although the heavy wood and carpet makes it a bit out-dated. The Jade restaurant seems very popular with the locals as there was a big waiting on Saturday night - although we didnt get a chance to experience the food here.
The surroundings are quiet and its a 5 min walk to the main road where there is a mall and a few eating outlets. I believe this is centrally located because we were not far from the main activity area.
It’s a good place for a short business trip or even wedding families may find this place attractive.
