We booked the hotel online for our vacation in January in Goa. The hotel is based in Panjim and is very conveniently located.
Right from the very friendly hotel staff at the reception at the time of check-in (the self -check in kiosk was not operational at that time) to the thoughtfully provided Luggage carrier, this hotel truly believes in making the stay of the guest as comfortable as possible.
The hotel is wi-fi and also has special net zone and conference room facilities making it really ideal for business travellers. However, that does not mean it is not suitable for families like us. We had a great time in the hotel.
The rooms are tastefully done and are well equipped with amenities like self controlled ac, mini fridge, LCD TV, tea-coffee maker, provision of tea and coffee sachets, mineral water etc. The beds are queen size and very very comfortable. The room is cleaned and sheets are changed everyday. Bathrooms, though a bit lacking in space are quite good.
The hotel has some unique features like a restaurent where you can also order outside food, a Cafe Coffee Day Outlet, Self Vending machines for snacks and cold drinks etc., a small book store, Gymnasium etc. A well equipped conference hall is there. Ample parking space is also available.
Even though the hotel is projected as a ’self service’ one, the staff is very couteous and pleasant. Once when our fridge was not working, they immediately replaced it and also replenished our supply of tea and coffee sachets on request. The hotel is very very clean and the breakfast buffet which the hotel serves is pretty decent.
All in all, being a TATA Group hotel, the hotel maintains certain basic standards, including those of cleanliness and hygiene and is a good value for money.I would really like to try out the other Ginger hotels too and go back to this one, whenever possible.
