We had a very bad experience at HHI yesterday, could not imagine a three star hotels service can be so bad. We went there for our annual conference. They did not give us what we had confirmed them to give. For a company conference there was no podium, no cordless mike instead there was a water rack. My colleagues had to waste the first half n hour to arrange the same. We were served normal namkeen biscuit in the name of cookies, cookies were hardly seen in the tray and the tea were cold and when questioning them they said it was because of the Air Conditioner. There was nobody to manage the sound or look after our needs.
The speakers were making awful sounds. They served us stale and hard rasgullas for dessert and last but not the least we were most astonished to find that the accounts department and the management of such a big hotel were absolutely not aware of the online bank transaction methodology and system. We tried to explain them the system for three hours but failed. They harassed us like anything. We had to give them in writing with our assigned persons signature, designation and visiting card about the transaction system.
But when we asked them to give an apology letter they did not have the guts to even give their full signature they signed the paper writing the representative name in block letter that too not under their company name. All are expectations from this renowned hotel, Hotel Hindustan International went into the water of their swimming pool.
Can anybody tell me is this the behavior or service expected from such a three star hotel?
