Stayed here during my annual family vacation. It’s a comfortable place to stay.
The Good:
The front staff is extremely helpful. I would add additional point for them.
The rooms were precooked upon arrival, instantly beating the heat outside.
Bathrooms were clean and spacious.
Bed and room were clean, no broken corner or dysfunctional appliance.
All lights and switches working as expected.
They don’t have in-house restaurant, but you can order from a menu and they arrange food for you. Vegetarian food is cooked in the hotel and non-vegetarian is arranged from outside.
They provide cabs for local sight seeing, wagah border or onward journey. The cabs are a slightly costly though and you could arrange cheaper from outside. However, I chose the hotel provided ones as it was more convenient.Liked the hotel and chose to repeat the same on my return journey back to Amritsar.
The Bad:
The only drawback is the hotel is located in a narrow street packed with numerous other hotels and there is no’view’ outside the windows. If you don’t mind keeping the curtains closed all the while, definitely go for this one
