The only reason this restautant can draw some crowd is because its located at a secluded place, amidst the greenery and hill-side view.
On a Friday night, one might find a few people who turn up in order to have a quiet dinner with family in the open, but I wonder if they would hardly be satisfied. After being seated at a table in the open space, we decided to move inside as the cold was getting on to us, typical of Pune during this time. Finding a table inside was not a problem. The inconvenience started right after placing the order.
The waiter who was making a note of our order disappeared right after it. When the order came in, we realized that half of the things we ordered were missing. Upon bringing this to the notice of the waiter, we got a blunt response, "Whatever was ordered has been brought to the table!"
On top of it, we were unattended on the table for at least 20 min. There are waiters running around everywhere and when you call them, they simply ignore you and move on.
This really pissed us off. We called the waiter who took our order but he was still nowhere to be seen. After blasting them, we asked them to get our order again, which wasted at least 20 more minutes of our time, besides spoiling our evening.
So we were hungry, we were cold and we were pissed off at the service! One experience was enough for me to decide that Im not going to that hotel again. In a service industry, which entirely flourishes on customer satisfaction, I am surprised how a restaurant can survive with least importance given to its customers.
In fact, I wonder if most of the people in that restaurant were first-timers because given their level of service and customer satisfaction, I am sure not many would like to place a repeat order!
