The reasons for me not recommending this Hotel are - 1> I chose to book Sight Seeing trip through the Hotel. It was a disastrous day for 8 couples. The van just roamed around in Ooty for 2 hours to fill all their seats. The result...they couldn’t show us Doddabeta peak,
Boat house, Dolphin’s nose and few other places because of lack of time in the evening. 2> I had to ask for Blanket three times from the Reception. There was nobody attending the House keeping desk for the entire day. 3> Hot Water went off around 7:30AM and a lot of people who had to check-out from the hotel suffered because of it. 4> In-spite of giving them room-keys in the morning, nobody cleaned it the entire day.
5> The socket for TV Wire had current. My wife was in shock for 10 minutes after suffering it. Friend, I paid Rs 930 for a day...this is not cheap considering what they offer. It’s better to avoid Khem’s and stay somewhere else...After all, you must be going there for a life-time memory! Our Memory was spoiled; Don’t spoil yours!
