Being living very close to hotel lajjat , I have been there many time and I found it quite nice, though it doesnt have anything fancy....its typical old pune hotel and its cramped up in a narrow lane though its has its own parking place for 10-12 bikes..there is a family section and normal section as usual...now the food served here is typical marathi food and hence u would find most of hardcore marathi middle
aged people here than anyone else....the speciality of this tiny hotel is the corn pattice and green peas pattice with refreshing natural drinks like kokam sharbati would fancy a mango lassi as well.....the hotel is also known for various local food stuff like misal and sabudana khichadi.... it also serves normal meals but I havent tasted them as yet....all in all if u want to have a taste of real marathi food at decent pricing and if u can manage to get through the city traffic its the place to visit at least once:)
