A budget hotel with an amazing location. This hotel group has another hotel - Jaisamand Island Resort. I stayed at both these places. Even had the privilege of meeting the owners of these two places.
The lake is dry right now, but all the lakes in Udaipur except Jaisamand lake, are dry. This a perfect place to stay if u want to do a lot of site seeing in Udaipur city and still want to stay at a hotel which seems like its far from the city. It’s in an area that is totally green and beautiful views of the lake and the mountains around.
The hotel is a budget place - 1600 to 1800 Rs for the room. We took the lake facing room for 1800, totally worth it. The hotel has quite a few number of rooms - about 80, I think. They have good taxi service available, which is much cheaper than the taxis that u have to take from the regular people in the city. The hotel has amazing veg food. The restaurant interiors are not that good, but its simple and clean.
