Mahendra Prakash hotel ##https://hotelmahendraprakash.com/## offers a home like ambience with polite and supportive staff, well maintained moderate size rooms with effective ACs, good attached bathrooms, a swimming pool, open spaces and lounges(with couple of cute turtles!), and of course a smiling witty receptionist. The hotel also has a private parking for about 4 to 5 cars.
The hotel prefers families as their guests and avoids business groups and students. They also have stopped access to the swimming pool for outsiders(which was earlier open at a charge of Rs 100 per adult).
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights in 2 Superior rooms(4 adults, 2 kids) in June 2014. We were charged a moderate INR 13, 200/- only including taxes and reach breakfast in the morning.
With well-behaved staff, good rooms and better maintenance, the hotel attracts good many foreigners as well Indian tourists - also due to the fact that it is the only hotel listed as'Top Choice' in budget hotels in Udaipur by'Lonely Planet'!See the attached photographs of the hotel.
