Hey ! This silent standing hotel in the midst of growth in urban chennai is quite some thing to talk about... The only reason I know of this hotel is because it belongs to a friend of a friend whose father something something...you get my point???
Anyway this staid and plain looking hotel stands next to the equally fading Chola Sheraton on Cathedral Road. It is just below the fly over above music academy... This I think everyone should know.. The hotel has decent rooms at a not so decent price.. I can’t exactly quote the prices as I cant remember how much exactly but more on the expensive side...the rooms are ok...You have a/c and non a/c and there are conference rooms and a permit room etc..
The facilities are there, but thats about all there is to say about this hotel... For someone arbidly lookign for a hotel, I don’t think anyone would stop and give it even a second look.. and that too in this day and age of cut throat competition, it seems to just stand there not bothered. some times I wonder how they even have clients... there is nothing to say about the hotel except for the good location... The rooms are of moderate size and do have TVs and phones but again thats all...like I said earlier the facilities are there but its all so lacklustre... it seems like it is there because it is supposed to be there and for no other reason...
The food!!! oh! another sad let down...the restaurant in the hotel is pathetic...(if I can use such a word here) ..The service was terrible... Felt like one of the hotels about which the ’’soup looks like the finger bowl’’ jokes wouldve started from...ok I aint sayin more....even the reception etc... its all cold...thats exactly the word to use...cold...you expect warm hospitailty and you can just se a cold structure....
