Recently, my wife and I visited Belur and Halebid in Karnataka. We had booked a Non AC double bedroom for 1 day through KSTDC’s online portal. The room was good and the charges were reasonable. The manager in charge was also very helpful. The hotel is very near to the Belur bus stand. Generally they serve only north indian food and hence the choice is less but since we stayed for only one day, this was not a problem. The checkin and checkout are done at 12 PM and hence we had to adjust our travel itinerary to suit these timings.
Belur and Halebid are famous for Hoysala temples. We visited these temples and had a nice stay.
