I'm originally from Mumbai. These were one of the darkest times we faced ( despite Mumbai having a history of multiple bomb blasts time and again) . I thought the makers respected how sensitive this subject is and portrayed it accurately without sensationalizing or being callous. The courage and kindness of the Taj staff, fear and vulnerability of the staff and victims were also portrayed really well by the characters. I don't think the movie in any manner suggested that foreign ( non-Indian) lives are more important as some of the posts here suggests. They basically highlighted the same vulnerability people shared during that horrible time and how they all came together in crisis regardless of nationality or race.
