We had enquired about our room in this hotel around 2-3 hrs before we reached. The receptionist had confirmed the room. We reached at around 10 in the night and informed him that we will check out at 6 in the morning and took the room. room rent was fixed at Rs. 2037.
A room boy suddenly opens the door and peeps into the room without permission. and then he shuts the door. NO sorry or apologies at all.
Then we saw that the TV was present but was dummy. No channels at all. No DD also. BAAAD. We called the reception and he said the room boy will check. the room boy came and checked something that we had already done for the past 10 minutes, and then he finally declared that cable connection was not working.
For every damn thing, the room boy should check, I dont know what he will check. This badly invades the privacy.
- that night, we slept around 12 a.m. and got up at 4:45 next morning because 4 of us had to take bath and then leave. So I got up first and went to the bathroom and there is absolutely no hot water. I guessed that it may start after a bucket and drained 1 bucket of water. to my shock, there was no hot water even after draining 4-5 buckets and now, I was getting irritated and feeling bad that so much water is getting wasted. I then, asked my husband to check wiht the receptionist and he said that the heater has been turned on and the water will start in half an hour. I literally sat in the bathroom for the next half hour and no hot water. and again my husband calls up the receptionist, he again says 10 minutes. this continued for another half an hour. I then came out without taking bath.
I called up the reception again and the guy sent the room boy again and this time all the room boy did was to hold his hand under the running water from the tap. THIS IS WHAT WE HAD BEEN DOING FOR THE PAST 1 HOUR! BLOODY! why does the guy have to come to the room for every damn thing?
the room boy went - the receptionist says, "we have turned on the heater and the values, if the water is not coming what can we do?", IS THIS THE WAY YOU TALK TO THE CUSTOMER?
now, after some circus, finally there was hot water and my M-I-L finished her bath.
my husband went for bath and you wouldnt believe it, THERE WAS ONLY HOT BOILING WATER IN ALL THE TAPS AND NO COLD WATER AT ALL!
wash basin, shower, taps, and even the flush, ALL HAD ONLY HOT WATER! what nonsense, .
and now, when I call the receptionist telling him that there is no cold water and the taps are filled with only boiling hot water, he does not have an answer.
this is the worst service I have ever seen in any hotel.
finally we were all pissed off and decided to check out from the hotel, I went to receptionist and told him that I will pay only half the money for the hopeless service they have provided. as usual, the receptionist said "no, I will not accept this, you have to pay fully.", I said "i will pay only this much for this service, you can have it or return it" and I was shocked to hear his response, he said, "ok mam, I have your phone number, I can do anything with it". IS THIS THE WAY YOU TALK TO A CUSTOMER? FIRST OF ALL, YOUR SERVICE IS PATHETIC AND DIRTY AND NOW YOU ARE ALSO THREATENING THE CUSTOMER.
what nonsense. having a hotel with beautiful rooms is not enough, you need to have good staff who will handle the tough situations properly.
verrrrrry bad hotel and very very very bad in decent staff. please fix it.
