Hello friends, today I am going to give my review about palace on ganges hotel which is situated at assi ghat varanasi.
Actually day before yesterday ( 7jan 2018) I visited this hotel because I wanted to enjoy this place. I booked it by goibibo.com.
Non ac room I booked in 874 rs. I reached here at 7: 30 pm and they were refusing to give room . they are telling that booking would be from morning 10 o’clock to 12o’clock. I showed them my trip through goibibo across the country then anyhow they manage a room rather that giving my original room.
I shifted there. That room was at ground level besides reception and full of sanitary problems like humid and dirty. Bathroom was not so good and even they didnot give toileteries and water. In morning I complained again then they shifted me upstaires side room. That room was non ac and beds are too dirty. I told them to change my bedshit but they refuse it by saying, all covers went to laundary. I was shocked.
Services are also not upto the mark. I called housekeeping four times for coffee but they came too late.
Staffs are not well mannered and supportive. They are taking too much prices on offline booking according to customers. Although it is near assi ghat, many people are compromising with them.
There is no geasure water availability all time. We have to tell them to on geasure. Room facilities are also old fashioned like tv, furnitures etc.
They are not providing single facility even worth to it’s cost. I got dissappointed by their services and behaviour.
I will recommand you people to book other hotels near to ganga river. If you are booking ganges palace then book it online only.
Overall it is an average hotel.
