I recently visited this hotel in Mysore and stayed for aday.
As our budget was very restricted and we didnt want to spend much on a mere overnight stay..we chose this hotel based on yatra.coms recommendation.
The hotel is located at a walkable distance from the mysore bus stand and is very near to the railway station too.In short its very easily accessible
When we booked through yatra..the rate per night was 500 odd rupees for a non a/c double bedroom..the lowest range room in that hotel.I was full of apprehension how it would turn out to be as I had never tried the budget hotels much during my other travels.
The entrance and reception was very decent. The hotel staff is also courteous.
We were taken to the room allotted to us and the first thought that came to my mind when I saw the rooms were "Too neat ".The room was cosy and small in size with just place enough for a double bed and a small table nearby to place the phone. It also had a tv and cupboard at the entrance for keeping luggage and all.The bathroom also was very very neat
.
The hotel has a resturant named "nakshtra".We had our buffey breakfast there and it was reasonable priced.the items were very tasty and simple..ideal for a breakfast in the morning when you know that the full day is going to be spent on road travelling.
The staff (few of them..not all) are a bit poor in understanding english and speak kannada mostly but we never had any major issues.
Overall for a budget hotel cateogory..you cannot experct more than what this hotel had to offer.Good food...neat rooms and bathrooms...good staff...and a decent resturant..
Do try of you want to spend a night at Mysore or have budget constraints.
