Talk about economic good quality food, and you have hotel Sadanand at Goregaon east. It is so close to station that you can hear horns of train blowing as you are enjoying your food.
The hotel is not A/C, hence is economic and cheap. They serve the best ’Thaali’ next to Nidhi Restaurent in west in entire Goregaon. When I say best, I have considered quality and quantity of the food and the cost they charge for that.The thaali consists of any Indian bread you’d want- Roti, Poori, Chapati, a dish of plain rice, three different curries for rice, two curry sabjis and a dry potato sabji. There is buttermilk to accompany with a sweet dish which is molten shrikhand or something.
Food is not that great to taste, but at just 80 Rs., you cannot expect more. Full marks to Sadanand for costing, efficiency and hygiene. No files, mosquitoes whatsoever.
