This was my first time at any Saravana Bhavan and I had great expectations from the place. I went to the Vadapalani outlet with my boyfriend and well the interiors failed to impress me but the food really made me happy.
If you want to try out some mouthwatering South Indian, authentic delicacies, then Saravana Bhavan is the place to be! I called for their Medhu Vada, Onion Rava Dosa and Special Filter Coffee. My boyfriend settled for an Onion Uthappam and Paneer Dosa.
It took a while for the food to arrive, but the aroma that preceded it, drove me crazy!:) The Medhu Vada was super crisp and dunked into the Sambar, it tasted angelic! The Rava Dosa too was crispy and tasted delicious. My boyfriend’s Paneer Dosa was just alright, but what took the cake was the Onion Uthappam. It was thick, fluffy and came with fresh and finely chopped onion, tomatoes and coriander leaves.
The coffee was a total hit and I had it three times!:D This has to be the best coffee I have ever tasted. Wow, I really loved Saravana Bhavan and I am surely going to keep visiting this place time and again. See you there!
