Hotel Silver Stone is mere 5 minutes away from the nearest Metro Station and this is one of its biggest selling points. The rooms are not exorbitantly priced either. However, you have to compromise on certain things when you get a hotel room on cheap prices.
The staff, though quick, is slightly unfriendly. They do not pay adequate attention to your needs. Almost all of the rooms here have a certain damp aura to them. The rooms do not smell fresh and be prepared to have a date with mosquitoes as well. In fact, some guests complained about cockroaches running a race in their rooms the last time I was here. The rooms have Wi-Fi, which is a huge positive for travelers like me. However, the rooms are not particularly clean. The room towels are usually dirty and even the furniture did not look new to me.
Not all the rooms have hot water all day long. In fact, I would get hot water in the morning only. I had to request the front desk to make arrangements for the hot water in the evening as well. I was also not given any complementary breakfast by the hotel, though, it was mentioned on the tripadvisor website. If you have your own vehicle, then you may find issues with parking your vehicle as there is not enough parking space in the hotel. The food provided by the hotel is average at best.
Overall, it is your typical 2-star hotel with basic facilities. However, the staff should be polite and should try to exchange smiles with the customers while handling their requests. The rooms too need renovation.
