i visited this hotel in May 2006 along with my family .. . I booked this using MMT after doing much reserch...however could not get the Best Hotel in Darjeeling... The best part of this hotel is ..its Good location..very close to market...eating places and taxi stand....you can go out and eat good food nearby....worst part is ..its old hotel and they are not maintaining it well....looks like its was a good hotel 5-10 years back.. also ...2100 per day is not justified...so better try for other good one..one I know is viceroy that is next to this hotel and is better then this...
i think its good if you visiting for 2-3 days and can go out eveytime to eat as food is okey type again...and not many options....most of the time..they will tell you ..whats available ..rather then you deciding....
