Yesterday was my 35th birth day. My colleagues and friends were pulling my legs for a big lunch. Though initially I was spendthrift, later succumbed to their wishes.Took them to the restaurant, Poolside in SRM hotel in Kattankulathur, Chennai.
About the ambience & restaurant : A cool place, but one of the oldest hotels in that road. So dont expect hi-fi look. The people who work also look very old.
About the food : Ok. Moderate. Value of money. Non-Veg varieties are v.v less.
Price : Moderate. Value for money.
Poolside : we were sitting and eating in a table - viewing the pool which is not cleaned for ages.
Since there are no other restaurants here to go, no other choice. Don’t go with high expectations you will be disappointed. Also since there are no restaurants in the road, no other go.
P. S : only charm here is " they have a good choice of deserts."
