I HAD BEEN TO SIMLA last month with my family. We booked this hotel from Dehli. After reaching here we did not like its shabby appearance. Then after coming to the rooms, we were very much disappointed looking at its matteresses, and pillows without covers all weredirty, After taking one hour they replaced it or may be they put on the covers.
We were wasting our time and service peole were not listening to it. Only thing we liked about this hotel is that they’ve made arrangement t ogo to mall road. Otherwise four days stay insimal was wasted and frustrated becoz of this hotel. No cleanliness, water leakage, lights not working, and what not. Recently visited OOTY and while searching hotels through net I have found Lakeview reasonably cheap and good. I put up there but the service is so bad.
I found in room no 60 intercom is not working. I immediately reported but they did not do anything during my stay there for couple of days. The receptionists are indifferent. They are very slow in executing a simple operation. They are charging huge in compared to the service provided.
Though rooms are big but poorly maintained. The electrical swiches are loose enough. There service is so pathetic. I never come across such hotels where they did noy even clean the romms ehen asked for.
Even there is a hidden ’’utility’’ charge never mentioned anywhere. When I asked what is that I did not even give me proper response. This is excess apart from all luxary taxes. They gave me the bill but never mentioned the ’’utility’’ charge in the bill. I will visit OOTY
