My wife and I travel extensively and we’ve just returned from two full weeks of the most outstanding service and facility quality we have ever experienced in a vacation destination. Amaris is a bit out of the way in northern India; but it is every bit worth the trip to indulge in such excellence. We travelled from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and took every opportunity along the way to experience India, its colourful landscapes and attractions and its beautiful spiritual people; which would have been well worth the trip in and of itself. The experience at Amaris though, took this trip to another level entirely.
From the hotel that is true five star, to the service focus that is five star plus, we enjoyed an outstanding suite, delicious and imaginatively prepared food (full menu western and Indian available), physical and thought provoking yoga, incredible spa quality, and perfect natural surroundings. There’s lots to do at Amaris; from trekking to loafing, and perhaps uniquely, there is ample opportunity to take a spiritual journey worthy of Larry’s in Somerset Maugham’s Razor’s Edge - if you are so inclined.
