Bad experience to begin our North East Trip

We visited Hotel Tibet on 23rd January. Our travel agent Mr.Kaushik of " Himalays Global Tourism Management, Kolkata" booked us a 2 day accommodation in this hotel. We were given a basic room in a 3* hotel and there was not even a proper room heater.


Day 1: we dint find even a drop of hot water in the room.. nevertheless we silently suffered the trouble.


Day 2: We dint get hot water to even bathe and when we called the Hotel authorities, all they did was provide us a bucket of water and asked us to manage with it.. Beat this!!!!!


Frustrated, we tried to reach Kaushik and as usual he dint pick our calls. Its when we called from some local number we could reach him and again he continued with his fake assurances saying he is going to speak to the hotel and upgrade our room to a deluxe room.. when we went back to the hotel, and inquired in the reception, we were shocked to know that our travel agent had not even made an effort to solve our problem.


We were out for the whole day on Day 1 and when we came back in the evening, we informed at the reception that our room has to be cleaned and the response was all the housekeeping staff leave by 4.30 PM.. How rude is that?


Our 2 days stay was quite a bad beginning to our trip to North East.We stayed in the room for 2 days without any room service, nor housekeeping.
