My friends and I went to the Tulip Star party held yesterday on 31st aka the Macau Madness Night. It was madness sure. But not the madness you expect. Its the kind of madness that spoils your mood!
After waiting for an hour in the queue to collect passes we made an entry with the hopes of an amazing party. It was 10 already, oh! lets have something first. And we stood in the queue for more than half an hour and the food was yet to be served on the counter. OK, The food’s taking time, let’s rather drink. Same thing then happened at the drinks counter. Then the DJ shuts! By this time you realize the party’s not happening, its over. Then they announce that the organizers will be taken to court and the audience will have a refund. We wait for some more time. The counter’s on fire. People throwing things. The management has left. The security guy is drunk. What the Hell!
We left the venue. Today, when I was surfing I came across a similar news. The same thing happened in 2009! Tulip Star is surely making some reputation! Understood that all this dragging to court nonsense is the escape route.People should get a refund! Time, money n new year’s eve wasted.
Warning to those who plan to go there - DON’T. And to those who were there - Complaint’s filed at Santacruz Police station, please add your name to that list and spread the word.
