Welcome is a very shady restaurant in Vasco-da-gama. But do not go on the looks, the food served here is simply awesome. They have not spent lot on the interiors and the décor, but the food they serve will cover all other negative aspects.
The first thing I ordered here was a filter coffee. And trust me, I have had the best filter in Goa at this place. It is a typical south Indian restaurant in Vasco da Gama. The sambhar rice smelles so tasty when the waiter got it, that I just hogged on the plate. The rice cakes were also awesome.
Don’t forget to try their pickle, since it is the typical south Indian pickle, and the papad preparation is also good. I love this place. Must visit again.
