If you want plush comforts , give this hotel a miss. It is a very basic place, and I got a small room, narrow hard beds and a utilitarian bathroom.
the phone connected only to the reception .
The ROOM: it was small; so small that after my husband and I got in there was no space for the luggage. But to give woodlands its due we did not ask for the best rooms and we were also some of the last people to get rooms there.
The beds:narrow and hard the mattresses were threadbare as also the sheets covering them.
The bathroom: it was narrow with no separation between dry and wet areas .therefore water would seep out because the wash area was right behind the door. we were given tiny soaps but that was it.
The breakfast on all 3 days of my stay was south Indian and adequate but the choice was limited . we got basically the same fare with only minor changes. what was not good was the hygiene .the plates were greasy.the glasses could have done with another wash.the breakfast could have done with a change of items
What was nice was the staff who always had a ready smile and were helpful.
all in all good value for the money they charge.
I think south Indians would appreciate the breakfast.
