I had booked this place4 places boutique studios-Lisbon through hotels.com, the hotel deducted the whole amount on 24sep14 for a booking for 01oct for 2 nights, and then at the last minute on 30sep at 10:30 in the night, they cancelled the booking. When I called hotels.com they were providing me an alternate accommodation 30 miles from the city. I do not know whose worse, this studio or hotels.com, on my vacation I had to spend next few hours till 2 in the morning arranging alternate accommodation.
The money is still not refunded back to me either by the studio or hotels.com. Such studios and websites should be blacklisted. I guess they are in the business to fleece customers. Use either, if you want to ruin your vacation. I planning to approach consumer court.
