I was going through the reviews on hotmail and was surprised to find out that many people has reated it quite high. I can understand if that rating was at the begining of hotmail when it changed the total concept by offering free mail services. but after that it has grown so big that I think it has become unmanagable even for the big m of software.since I started using internet sometime in 98, I missed when its service was good (or thats what ive heard) and my attempts to use it has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
more often than not, it is very slow. now that can depend upon lots of things including my own set up. but im telling this while comparing email access speeds to other sites (i wont name them) from the same machine. while the others give you access in a split second( well if that is over statementm make it split minute) it takes ages to go to the actual message and back to inbox in hotmail.
then there is the other problem of spammail. I dont know why and how some people got my email id and has bombarded it with so many junk mails that im forced to almost stop using that account. the spamguards are also not of much use as each time the mails come from different ids. I dont know what to do. if any of the reader know any way to get rid of this problem you are most welcome to suggest so.
