OMG - 200+ reviews here, which mean so many people have actually bothered to bear this pain of watching the movie and then writing about it too.+1 here:-)
In fact, I knew very well what to expect from this movie. 3 main stream actors, 3 hot heroines, some bad guys and a prequel to its kitty - I knew what it would be - a senseless comedy!
A rich Indian businessman (as usual Boman Irani at his best) has 3 daughters, named Ganga, Jamuna, Saraswati (played by the 3 hotties - Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri). For some reason, the rich father does not want his daughters to be married - I mean why would he not want these so beautiful ladies not to marry? The film-makers probably wanted some story for their film.
Anyway, they have chosen guys for themselves, 3 names as funny as names of pets or kids play-characters: Sandy, Bunty and Teddy! (Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bahchchan and Riteish Deshmukh). All 3 are not new to comedy and have done such roles in the past. This time they have a character planned for themselves to get into like Akshay has a split personality and pretends his legs are paralyzed, while Abby plays the mute and Ritesh as blind. There is confusion added here by interchanging these roles. The story is as simple as how these 3 get to their loved ones.
It looked like the writer had run out of enough jokes that is when the actors had to make references either to their real lives or their movies, make some fun about it and entertain crowd. Besides, there are cheap English translations of Hindi sayings, which will make you giggle, if not LOL.
The one liners, while some will entertain, most does not go along with the flow. Akshay saves the day to some extent.
Produced by Sajid-Farhad and written too by them, Housefull-3 is on the same lines of their previous two, however sinks to new depths. If there is anything you would want to see here is not a story but few dialog and the A list film-stars.
