The housefull is a furniture company that sells imported furniture in India .They have offices across major metro’s.
I have purchased a computer table Hdc - 1012/2014/?420, A small table in March/April 2014
The table appeared to be good when assembled but soon I realized that it is a bad piece as it’s manufacturing is inferior. They have warranted for one year from date of purchase.
The table top soon gave the color away on minor use. My computer mouse which was kept on it.
They gave a drawer unit which is suspended from the top by a screw. I kept a few documents and files in the drawer and soon the drawer unit came down .I called up housefull customer care which was connected with great difficulty.
They told me to send the photograph and I did the same.They now replied by the following mail This mail is with regards to email appended below.
Please note that your complaint comes under usage damage hence will be resolved on chargeable basis, kindly confirm so that we can do the needful.
I called up and asked them to prove why it is usage damage as the block is came out from the screw and looked like a manufacturing and design defect.
Earlier for another centre table also they mentioned the same.So they want to avoid any warranty service . They are also least bothered about any defects.Please do not believe this company as they will supply inferior products and wash off their hands
